maclean was selected by Boston Scientific in 2017 as a partner in the maintenance of their plant in Batu Kawan, Penang. A manufacturer of medical devices for use in the human heart, optimal hygiene standard and adherence to approved processes are the manufacturing pre-requisites.

A cleaning proficiency module was jointly developed with Boston Scientific’s EHS department for their cleanroom environment, including CHRA, JHRA, HIRAC, hygiene standards benchmarking, and service audit procedures.

After numerous interviews, background screenings and medical checks, cleaning proficiency training, and stringent assessment, 24 crew were selected to join the maclean service team at Boston Scientific Batu Kawan.

Todate, maclean service team at Boston Scientific Batu Kawan has passed all internal and external audits, consistently score above 90 points in the 100-point cleaning audits, safety audits, DEKRA audits, and FDA audits.
