We’re at the tail end of 2024, and before we say goodbye to our year, we at Maclean wish to take this festive season to express our sincere gratitude to our esteemed clients.
Together, we’ve navigated challenges, celebrated victories, and raised industry standards. The awards that Maclean garnered are as much yours as they’re ours.
In 2024, Maclean was honoured with the prestigious Gold Star Partnership Award from Keysight Technologies Penang, and the Exceptional Service Award from CBRE Malaysia. These awards are a testament to Maclean’s dedication to delivering top-tier cleaning, landscaping, and hygiene and toiletry services.
We are grateful to have received 152 client recognitions across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, retail, MNC offices, financial institutions, educational institutions, and more, averaging 13 recognitions per month. These recognitions clearly reflect our core strength in microelectronic manufacturing and retail sectors, also reaffirm our commitment to service excellence in cleaning, hygiene and toiletry, pest control, and audit.
Beyond these achievements, we are delighted to have attained ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, underscoring our commitment to environmental sustainability and a greener future. Together with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, these certifications form Maclean’s Integrated Management System (IMS). This significant milestone reflects our ongoing effort to review, refine, and innovate, ensuring that the Maclean IMS remains effective and efficient.
Our commitment to growth was further demonstrated through over 1,000 training sessions conducted this year. Furthermore, our CIDB certification upgrade from Grade 3 to Grade 4, enhance our capabilities and credibility.
We also introduced new HR policies focusing on Human and Labour Rights, and Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption, reinforcing our dedication to ethical and responsible HR practices.
Overall, we grew our network to serve over 120 clients including members of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), managing more than 200 contracts. This is possible through the support of more than 1,400 management, supervisors and service crew. This growth echoes our obligation to scaling up without compromising on the quality you expect and deserve, or the overall well-being of our employees.
As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited to embark on a new chapter, driven by innovation and sustainability. Our priorities include:
● Advancing ESG initiatives, to create positive impact on our triple bottom line-profit, people and the planet.
● Adopting technologies by leveraging AI, robotics, and analytics, to elevate operational efficiency and tailor our services to clients’ needs.
● Improving risk management to safeguard our operations and uphold the trust our clients place in us.
● Upholding ethical HR standards, aligning with the international standards set by the International Labour Organization and the United Nations Human Rights Council, ensuring fairness and accountability in everything we do.
